Reading is a process of constructing meaning by interacting with text; as individuals read, they use their prior knowledge along with clues from the text to construct meaning. 

People who are learning to read need to be encouraged to continue using and developing their new skills. Famous scientists, such as Einstein , need 'reading' to help improve with their research work in Science.

Without reading, the world would be an empty place. We wouldn't know much about the world nor do we know much about outer space!
